OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Nash & Reel was born from a lifetime of believing that women can be strong and feminine, adventurous and graceful, and never have to choose between the two.

My greatest teachers have been my three children. I became a single mother when they were just 8, 4, and 6 months old. We didn’t have much, but we had each other. I worked hard to build a career and give them opportunities. Later in life, I returned to school and earned my Master’s degree. I wanted my children to see that learning never stops and that you are never too old, too busy, or too far along in life to grow.

Some of my favorite memories with my children are the simplest ones. Being outside, fishing at Lake Sinclair, and spending countless hours at practices and games while watching them discover what they loved. Looking back, I realize I wasn’t just raising children. I was watching them become confident in who they were.

And that brings me to the two young women who helped inspire Nash & Reel.

My future daughter-in-love is a former state clay shooting champion who loves to hunt and fish. My daughter is a standout flag football player. They are very different young women, but they share something that means more to me than any title or accomplishment. They are confident in who they are and in what they love.

That is the woman I want Nash & Reel to celebrate. She might be cheering from the stands on Saturday and sitting in a duck blind on Sunday. She might love a pretty dress and a pair of muddy boots. She might be an athlete, a hunter, an outdoorswoman, a mother, a student, a business owner, or all of those things. She doesn’t have to fit into one box.

Nash & Reel is about more than clothes. It’s about reminding women, especially young women, that they don’t have to choose between being feminine and being strong. They can walk into any room, onto any field, or into the outdoors with confidence and know they belong here.

You can be beautiful and strong.
You can be feminine and fierce.
You can dress up and get dirty.
You can speak up for yourself.
You can take up space.
You can be exactly who you are and still belong.
You don’t have to choose just one version of yourself.

Thank you for being part of the beginning of this little dream of mine.

Be brave. Be curious. Be confident.
And above all, be unapologetically you.

With love and gratitude,
Jenn Nash
